Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. About Kimberly Walker
Art has been part of my life since I could first hold a crayon. Art classes in junior and senior high school reaffirmed my passion for putting some sort of medium to paper. Majoring in first business and finally social services in college, I never missed an opportunity for elective art classes. So, even though I do not have any type of formal art degree, painting has been a very large part of my life. In the 1980s my dentist became my painting mentor. I'd never painted with watercolors and wanted to explore the new medium. He painted in his spare time and eventually retired from dentistry to paint full time. His recommendation to me was to paint 100 paintings of any subject, no matter the outcome, to learn how to control the medium. I...
